Mitel's World Cloud Simplifies Global Communications

The barriers to international communications are becoming fewer as service providers deploy cloud technology so their customers can access the solutions they provide from anywhere. The new World Cloud platform from Mitel has taken this approach to give multinational businesses a solution that streamlines the management of cloud communications while at the same time lowering backend complexities.

One of the technologies that makes globalization possible is the ability to communicate with anyone without limitations, essentially making international connections local. As a provider of global enterprise and mobile communications powering more than 2 billion business and mobile subscribers daily, Mitel (News - Alert) already has the infrastructure in place to make the new World Cloud platform work.

World Cloud is being supported by 14 top-tier data centers strategically located across the globe so CSPs and enterprises can deploy services with true local experiences for customers, save on international calling costs and streamline billing and management. It delivers local experiences to unify and engage users by connecting them between any office, anywhere, anytime, on any device. Mitel has the infrastructure to bring two offices in two countries, or 200 across the globe.

“Mitel is helping meet the connection and flexibility needs of multinationals as they penetrate new markets, acquire and merge with other companies or expand their workforce. This is true for the small business looking to address its customers' needs like a Fortune 500 enterprise, or a large business wanting to adapt to changing markets with the ease of a nimble startup,” said Jon Brinton, President and EVP Mitel Cloud Division.

According to Mitel, this is a solution that will do away with the compatibility issues of disparate systems while addressing the high connectivity demands of global companies. In a world where instant communication and collaboration are key, limitation placed in these capabilities will slow down productivity.

The universal access World Cloud gives employees communication capabilities to international extensions with unlimited user-based country dialing and enterprise-grade quality of service to 40 plus countries. This includes local inbound phone numbers and extensions with local outbound dialing features to localize the customer experience. In addition to simplifying the experience for the end-user, IT management has also been streamlined with administrative tools.

The digital economy has proven the demarcations that represent borders on maps no longer limit the growth of a company. A small business can just as easily trade internationally as a large multinational. With Mitel's World Cloud, it just became that much easier to communicate in more than 40 countries to conduct business.
