Happy Saturday! This week in Lync Migration was an exciting one, with articles covering the Microsoft (News - Alert) IT Pro Tools Partner Certification, the general availability of new solutions, AudioCodes advancements and more. Now that it’s the weekend, let’s take a look back at these last few days.

The week started off with news that Unimax (News - Alert) has been granted Microsoft IT Pro Tools Partner certification. The company received this certification for the development of its 2nd Nature unified communications (UC) migration and management software. Unimax developed 2nd Nature to help solidify the various parts of UC systems. The purpose of 2nd Nature is to make managing all of these systems much easier. You can read more HERE.

Speaking of making things easier, the IR Prognosis UC Assessor just became generally available. It is optimized for Microsoft Skype (News - Alert) for Business Online in Office 365 and is the first network solution certified by Microsoft for Skype for Business Online under the IT Pro Tools Partner Program. The purpose of this tool is to ensure a positive user experience of the application across LAN and WAN connections, all the way to the end application/endpoint. You can find out more HERE.

Moving on, AudioCodes (News - Alert) had a big week, with the announcement that it is adding its new 450HD IP phone to its 400HD IP phone portfolio capable of supporting Skype for Business and unified communications (UC) features. According to the company, the 450HD has been designed to specifically address unified communications environments, which includes Skype for Business Online and high definition voice quality performance. TMC’s (News - Alert) Frank Griffin has everything you need to know HERE.

Finally, the week rounded out with more news from AudioCodes. TMC’s Laura Stotler reports that the company has simplified the migration of voice to the cloud. According to Stotler, “AudioCodes’ recently released User Management Pack 365 is one of the ways the company is bridging the gap to the cloud. The solution is part of the AudioCodes One Voice for Skype for Business portfolio and offers a simple and intuitive user interface for centralized control of user management, policy configuration and location determination.” You can read more about the offering HERE.

While some exciting news has been highlighted here, that’s certainly not all that went on this week. Be sure to head to the Lync Migration homepage for all the updates, and come back next week for the latest insights. Have a great weekend!
